Only known footage of Bruce Lee in a real MMA fight

Have a look at this video of Bruce Lee fighting one of his top students, Ted Wong. Fighters were required by law to wear protective gear when this video was shot, so you’re not able to see Lee’s face. It’s surprising there isn’t more footage of Lee fighting since he participated in so many martial arts tournaments during his career.

While watching the video, it seems like Lee knows what’s coming from his opponent on practically every punch. Wong did learn most of his moves from Bruce, so that’s no surprise. Finally, the video was restored to 4K, so it looks pretty good considering the age. Enjoy…
