SweetJack Sales Representatives at Cumulus Media leverage related experience in local merchant advertising, along with respective connections to build partnerships for Cumulus Media. They secure commitments from the most popular and desirable local businesses including restaurants, theaters, spas, and everything in between. They negotiate unbeatable offers on behalf of our radio listeners and email subscribers. We hire connected, innovative and industry-relevant sales professionals. Experience with online sales, advertising, social media, phone sales and face-to-face sales are beneficial to success and fitting within our team.
SweetJack Sales Representatives are…
• Professionals who can develop leads, negotiate and close deals in a fast-paced environment while creating a strong merchant pipeline
Responsibilities
• Develop and cultivate leads using a variety of online and offline resources
• Prospect and schedule face to face meetings for potential clients
• Assess potential clients, negotiate favorable terms and acquire prospective commitment
• Close local merchants on compelling offers
• Construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines
• Manage relationships with established clients
• Meet individual quarterly and annual sales targets
Required Skills/Experience
• 1+ years selling experience in the competitive group buying and/or social media space
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proven track record within a targeted sales goal
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
• Strategically and creatively think in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable cold calling, selling over the phone and in person
Compensation
• 6-month subsidy
• Extremely competitive commission structure
• Generous benefits package
